Back in March Jessica Ennis attended the Tayside & Fife Bank of Scotland Under 15 Development Camp at Pitreavie Athletics Centre. Since being at Pitreavie to pass on her experiences to the Athletes Jessica has had a fantastic season and at her first heptathlon in over a year, following injury, she went to number one in the world rankings. However she has since gone on to better this performance by winning the World Heptathlon Championships in Berlin last weekend. Jessica won four of the seven events to record the third highest first day total in history and went on to set a massive new personal best.
All at SportTayside & Fife would like to congratulate Jessica and I am sure that many of the athletes she spoke to that day are now even more inspired to have seen her performances over the weekend.
