Scone Thistle has successfully launched a girls’ only Saturday morning class. Thirty four Girls attended and were treated to coaching and games from the Scottish FA and Scone Thistle club coaches.

Forfar Farmington FC is a Quality Mark Community Club operating from purpose built clubrooms at the floodlit Market Muir in Forfar. The club runs seven girls sides from U11 to U17, one boys U12 side and Ladies sides at both SWFL Division 2 and SWPL level.
They are looking to recruit a manager and coach to develop their senior ladies divisional side.
The ideal candidates should have previous experience of coaching or running a club and be committed to the recruitment and progression of players to Scottish Women's Premier League standard, as part of club's overall development pathway.
Working closely with the club’s SWPL coaching team, the ideal candidates will benefit from on-going coach development opportunities and support from the club’s goalkeeping and strength/conditioning coaches.

The change of season for girls youth football in Tayside and Fife proved a successful venture with a record number of girl’s football teams registering for season March – November 2009. In season 2009, Tayside and Fife will have 44 girls football teams playing organised football across the region, equating to nearly 500 girls from age 11 through to 17 years of age.
