2007 Scottish National Short Course, Tolcross Glasgow

The Scottish National Championships which took place at Tollcross in Glasgow on the 11 – 13 January, featured swimmers from all over Tayside & Fife.

In a competition that saw swimmers who are looking to make the Olympic Team for Bejing competing the local athletes performed well.

Most noticeable performances came from Eloise Barber who swims with Carnegie Sc, with Coach Gilbert Kirkwood.
Eloise broke the Scottish Junior Record in the women’s 50m Fly and was awarded the Best Junior performance trophy for a girl for the outstanding swim she did in the 200m IM.

Junior titles were won several swimmers from the Region, and show that swimming is growing and developing strongly.
